THQ Nordic has declared July 3 to be the Independence Day for Mars. Cool. It also just happens to be the date that Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered will be released on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.THQ Nordic says that those that already own the 2009 release of Red Faction: Guerrilla on Steam will get the Re-Mars-tered edition for free. All you have to do is download the Re-Mars-tered release on Steam come July 3 and play. I mean, you don't have to play. It's there in your library whether or not you download it play it right then and there. Just, you know, you do you.
THQ Nordic also put out a fresh trailer today for Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered. Well, the trailer is fresh even if the song in it is not. It's a little sad to think that this is the first time many people will have heard Space Asshole.

About Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered
Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Red Faction: Guerrilla still defines the limits of destruction-based game-play with a huge open-world, fast-paced guerrilla-style combat, and true physics-based destruction.

And now we have games like PUGB, which don't even look that amazing, have no destruction, and run like crap.
I loved this game, I loved the multiplayer. I actually thought we wouldnt see anything more from Red faction since THQ went bankrupt. But If I am honest this trailer doesn't look like the graphics are that much better (Or maybe I'm just wearing rose colored glasses (or brown colored glasses). I also really enjoyed Red Faction Armageddon despite the worse reviews at the time
Hope they manage to earn some money with this remaster and manage to release new titles in the future
