New Saints Row Game in Development at Volition

Plus new info about Dead Island 2 and TimeSplitters.

Volition is said to be "deep in development" on a new Saints Row game, according to publisher THQ Nordic. The company said that the game is still currently untitled and does not yet have any announced release date. However, this will be a "full entry" in the Saints Row franchise.

The last Saints Row title was Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell in 2015. Though the last core release in the series was Saints Row 4 in 2013. Afterwards, Volition developed and released Agents of May...

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated Announced

Published from the studio that hosted an AMA on a site banned for child exploitation.

A remake of the old SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom was announced today by THQ Nordic. The publisher said that the remake is called SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated and it is being developed by Purple Lamp Studios.

There isn't too much to go on right now from today's announcement. I assume it's just the old game but given a fresh coat of paint. The original was apparently enjoyed by a fair number of people for some...

'Absolute Majority' of Metro Exodus Sales Were on Consoles

THQ Nordic founder tries to avoid talking about Epic Games Store sales figures.

Lars Wingefors, THQ Nordic's CEO and founder, seemed rather reserved when talking about the sales figures for some of THQ's most publicized releases this past year. Specifically, he shied away from talking specifics when it comes to PC sales of games like Metro Exodus and outright ignores another question regarding sales of Satisfactory.

A lot of this information came courtesy of the latest earnings call for the company.

    According to those who listened...

THQ CEO Offers Largely Hollow Apology Following Disgusting AMA

It's been roughly one week since THQ Nordic GmbH decided to do an AMA on 8chan, a site that is best known for allegations that they host and link to suspected child pornography, a site that contains rampant racism, a site that engages in harassment campaigns, and a site that engages in doxxing. These are just a few of their most notable "issues." Again, it's a place where people go when even 4chan thinks they're too fucked up.

It took THQ Nordic over 15 hours to remove the link to 8chan from their Twitter timeline. That's 15 hours that a...

THQ Nordic Just Held a Q&A on a Site Banned for Child Exploitation

Since then, the company has issued an apology saying that they did not do their "proper due diligence to understand the history and the controversy of the site." They're full of shit.

A bit earlier today, THQ Nordic's PR team of Philipp Brock and Reinhard Pollice thought it would be a grand idea to host a Q&A (otherwise known as an "Ask Me Anything" or AMA) on 8chan. For those happily unaware, 8chan has been involved in multiple instances of child abuse, child exploitation, swatting, GamerGate, white supremacy, doxxing, and more. It...

"Horse With No Name" Darksiders 3 Trailer

It's the day after Thanksgiving, but that didn't stop THQ from releasing a new trailer for Darksiders 3. The trailer, called "Horse With No Name" is all about, I presume, going through the desert on a horse with, you know, no name.
For some, the original song (by the band America) is related to series, movies, or games (Breaking Bad, Parks and Recreation, The Simpsons, Six Feet Under, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Air America, Hideous Kinky, The Trip, American Hustle, GTA San Andreas etc.). For some, the original song is a memory of their youth and/or upbringing. For some, thi
