  • Alter Fate in SolSeraph

    in News

    Alter Fate in SolSeraph

Out today on consoles and Steam.

Humans are about to be wiped out thanks to some Younger Gods that are being real jerks. Chaos spreads across the lands. That sucks. Thankfully, humanity has a savior by the way of Helios, a Knight of Dawn, that is trying to bring back civilization from being destroyed.

All of this is done through a mix of side-scrolling action and top-down strategy gameplay. Players will work to guide a group to expand their territory and dispel a "dark fog" that surrounds them. In doing so, you will expose some monsters that you then take on...

My Friend Pedro is Out Now for PC and Switch

    This game is bananas.

Devolver Digital and developer DeadToast Entertainment are proud to announce that their over the top, martial arts filled, skateboarding, talking banana, action game called My Friend Pedro is now available. The game that blends all of those elements together with a healthy dose of shooting, platforming, and sick slow-mo moves is out now for the PC and the Nintendo Switch.

Seriously, the game looks like it's a ton of fun based on what I've seen so far. ...

Review: A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

    Incredible from start to finish.

Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters. Though there are a couple of small missteps along the way, the journey you share with siblings Amicia and Hugo is one you really don't want to miss.

There are many more review "buzz words" I could use to describe A Plague Tale, but I will spare you from...

Strategy Game 'John Wick Hex' Announced for Consoles and Epic Games Store

Because when I think of John Wick, I think real-time strategy.

John Wick is getting a video game called John Wick Hex. It's a real-time strategy game. Yeah, mull that one over in your brain.

To be fair, it's a "fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game." I think that sounds better, right? It's being made by game director Mike Bithell, who previously brought you games like Volume and Thomas Was Alone, a game about geometric shapes.

This title will make you "think and strike like John Wick." It's obviously based off of the film series with...

Register now for the closed network test.

Later this month, Bandai Namco will host a closed network test for Code Vein. This test will be conducted on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It seems as though they're not too worried about the PC version because no test has been announced for that particular platform.

This test will give you the chance to make your own character and play through the opening segment of Code Vein. Players will also get a chance to experience an online co-op dungeon. Those looking to have a chance at this closed beta should register online....

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Announced, Pre-orders Available Now

After multiple weeks and a few months of teases, including a long running ARG surrounding a dating app called Tinder, we now have an official announcement of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Paradox Interactive made the big reveal just moments ago via a GDC party. The party was "supposed" to be for a new Tinder reveal but thanks to some unintentionally cheesy live-action role playing, it turned out to be a big reveal for Bloodlines 2.

This is a direct sequel to the previous title that came out back in 2004 on the very same day that Half-Life 2 was released....

Command & Conquer: Rivals Coming to Mobile Devices on December 4

Hey, there's a new Command & Conquer game coming. It's a mobile game.

Command & Conquer: Rivals will hit Android and iOS devices come December 4. It promises to deliver a "fast-paced, RTS action game" built for mobile users. I am confident this will make fans of the older games absolutely thrilled. However, given EA's apparent commitment to seeing this game succeed in a competitive sense, they may actually find something to like here.
Command & Conquer: Rivals will become the next official EA competitive gaming franchise to roll out a complete competitive program, including community tournaments and a championship pro scene. In Command

Alan Wake Returns to Steam Where You Can Get it for Just $3

Alan Wake is finally back on Steam. Remedy made the big announcement earlier today via Twitter. The company notes that Microsoft even helped them out when it came to renegotiating the rights to the licensed music that resulted in the game getting pulled in the first place.

The return to Steam is met with a massive sale that drops the price to just $3 (USD). Even if you aren't a huge fan of the genre, you kind of shouldn't pass this up for just 3 bucks. I largely didn't like Alan Wake but even I'm telling you it's a steal at $3.

This sale price won't last forever though. You have until November 1 to pick Alan Wake on Steam for $3. You can also...
