Activision low-key revealed that Destiny 2 is officially the "largest PC launch in Activision history based on units." They also said that it was the second highest grossing console game of 2017 in North America behind, you guessed it, Call of Duty: WWII.

This is all according to Activision-Blizzard's proxy statement (PDF) with a nod to PCGamesN for bringing it to everyone's attention.

Some other bits of information pulled from the document show that Activision-Blizzard had a record setting $2.21 billion annual operating cash flow. They also delivered "record segment operating income of over $1 billion" and a "record operating margin of 38%." Operating margin is one way in which you can measure profitability.
