An update from id Software for Quake Champions will arrive on December 14. This is being called the game's "largest update to date" and includes a new Champion, Keel, along with a new map, Ranked Play, leaderboards, and some holiday cheer to share.

Quake Champions is an Early Access release that you can get through either Steam or directly from Bethesda for $29.99 (USD). If you don't want to pay, you can simply wait a bit for the free-to-play version to get released.
