EA Sports announced that the Madden NFL 17 cover athlete and the first gameplay reveal will both arrive on May 12. The cover athlete will be revealed as part of the 6PM (ET) edition of ESPN's SportsCenter.

Madden NFL 17 is expected to be released on August 23 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
