    Ubisoft has released the minimum, recommended, and "optimal" specifications for the PC version of The Crew, their upcoming open-world racing title.

        "Wow! My computer meets the recommended specs for a new game these days? They must have done an excellent job optimiz-- oh. 'Optimal' ... Got it."

        Is this a new way to list specs or have I not purchased a game in a while? Probably both...

          It's not really new, just a different way of saying things. Games like Crysis/2 had three different sets of specs listed. IE: The highest tier is usually reserved for those on the most bleeding edge hardware and have a few thousand spare bucks to blow or for upcoming tech that's just around the corner.
