  • Watch Dogs Sets Sales Records for Ubisoft

Ubisoft revealed today that Watch Dogs has set sales records for the company. Not only was it the fastest selling game for the company on its first day, but the game has now sold over four million copies in its first week.

Ubisoft says that this is not only an Ubisoft record, but it is also now the best selling new IP released period. This is according to historical figures the company obtained from the NPD and GFK.
"With such strong sales momentum and positive feedback from gamers, Watch Dogs has positioned itself as the must-have game of the moment," said Tony Key, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at Ubisoft. "We’re really proud of this achievement, and are confident that the Watch Dogs brand has a promising future."

      by Shawn Zipay
Let's get these E3 2019 rumors starting off strong.

In 2011 a game was released wherein the main character could "hack" into
the minds of any other character and take control of them. The game was called MindJack (pictured above) and, in addition to the unique mind hacking, the game also featured a single-player story that could "transition seamlessly" into co-op. It wasn't all that well received.

Fast-forward to the present and a hot pre-E3...
