As a way of saying "thank you" to the fans that have been with the series for the past 15 years, Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions announced an exclusive mission for Metal Gear Solid V for the PlayStation 4.
The "Deja Vu" mission brings back the classic PlayStation 1 era Solid Snake as a playable character in an exclusive mission. Details on this exclusive content are scarce though a brief trailer was shown during tonight's PlayStation 4 launch event. Hopefully this trailer will be uploaded to YouTube soon.

Metal Gear was born on MSX2 for a start, It then was ported to NES (Nintendo's system), Metal Gear 2 was both NES & MSX2, still no Sony yet...
Then Metal Gear Solid was born indeed on PS1, but was released for Microsoft PC & a Version for Nintendo Game Boy too.
Then you have Metal Gear Solid 2, PS2, Xbox & PC originally and the ported to PS3, Xbox 360 & PS Vita.
Metal Gear Solid 3, PS2 then PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita & even Nintendo 3DS,
Metal Gear Remake was a Nintendo Gamecube exclusive
Then Various PSP Metal Gear spin offs, AC1D, Portable Ops Etc...
Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only Metal Gear game exclusive to a console which is PS3
Hell there's even a mobile phone game for Metal Gear...
