Part 1 of the trilogy is finally hitting Steam after two years.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was first released for the PlayStation 4 in April 2020. Then an updated version hit PlayStation 5 with improved visuals and additional content. That was named Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and dropped in June 2021. A PC release of Intergrade happened in December 2021. Finally, here on June 17, 2022 Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is finally hitting Steam.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 Revealed, Releasing Winter 2023 for PS5
Part 2 has been named and dated by Square Enix.
As part of today's big 25th Anniversary Celebration stream for Final Fantasy VII (7), Square Enix revealed the name and date for the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake.
Part 2 will be titled Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and will continue the story that began with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Square Enix says that they are targeting a winter 2023 release for the PlayStation 5 with Rebirth.
