Was the Last of Us Remake Necessary?
5Yes0%0No100.00%5Other0%0The poll is expired.
The remake of The Last of Us was just released on PlayStation 5 and well, was it really necessary to remake a game that came out less than a decade ago? Maybe it was, but is the $70 (USD) price justified for a game that has already been released twice prior in 2013 and again in 2014? -

343 Industries Delays Next Halo Season, Cancels Local Co-op
343's handling of the Halo franchise has left a lot of fans very angry.
343 Industries released the latest roadmap for Halo Infinite today and the news is not exactly great. The roadmap showcases multiple delays, a small amount of new content, and even the outright cancellation of an anticipated feature. The ever shrinking fanbase for Halo Infinite's multiplayer have not taken too kindly to any of this.
Right now in Halo Infinite, the second season has been underway since... -

The Mortuary Assistant is Being Turned into a Movie
A feature film adaptation of the horror game is now in production.
The Mortuary Assistant is a fairly competent horror game that released way back in the far-off time of August 2022. As far as new horror games go, it wasn't exactly terrible which meant that it picked up quite the decent following from horror fans of the world. Apparently, it was popular enough that publisher DreadXP and developer DarkStone Digital just announced a film adaptation of the game.

Can Counter-Strike Global Offensive Remain at the Top of the Esports Scene Forever?
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the best-known, most popular, and longest-running eSports games in the world. Indeed, the game from Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment has been around since 2012, which is when the eSports scene started to really kick off. Over the last decade, the industry has grown and is now worth over $1 billion.
CS:GO has played a massive part in this success, and it’s hard to imagine it ever being tipped off its perch as one of the top... -

Lady Gaga Might be the Next Fortnite Concert
Assuming some leaks and rumors are to be believed.
Several little snippets of leaks are adding up to suggest that Lady Gaga will be the next major concert event coming to Fortnite. The most recent piece of evidence pointing at this becoming a reality comes from a major Fortnite leak and datamining Twitter account, FNLeaksAndInfo.

Ubisoft Postpones Plan to Decommission Old Games
You can still play these old Ubisoft games, at least for now.
In July, Ubisoft updated their list of decommissioned games to add 15 titles that would soon have their online services turned off. At the time, it was also said that access to several pieces of downloadable content would no longer be accessible by players. There was also a worry that at least one game, Assassin's Creed Liberation HD wouldn't be accessible at all, but Ubisoft made a correction on that one to say the game... -

A New Rumor Suggests Konami will Make a Big Reveal at Tokyo Game Show
It's that time again. Time to get your hopes up!
Last year, we were treated to a rumor by VGC that said Konami was working on remasters of the first Metal Gear Solid games, along with a reimagined Castlevania game, plus several new Silent Hill games from various development studios. Well, VGC is back again with another hot Konami rumor that may or may not pan out. Why report on these at all? Because if I have to suffer through this nonsense, then so do you.
