  The no-longer-annual franchise makes a return to Steam after several years of absence.
  
  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will officially launch on October 28, 2022. This follow-up to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Those of you playing on PC now have a choice between buying the game through Battle.net or Steam.

  After teasing fans for a little bit on their social media channels, Infinity Ward revealed the official logo today for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This will be the 2022 sequel to the 2019 reboot of the first Modern Warfare, which came out in 2007. The first Modern Warfare 2 came out in 2009.

  Activision just revealed a rather unique way they are starting to deal with cheaters caught by their Ricochet anti-cheat system. A new update for the Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone anti-cheat will now drastically impede how cheaters can play the games.
  
  The new system introduced today is called Cloaking. With Cloaking, players that are supposedly cheating will be unable to see other players in the game world....

  A Call of Duty: Vanguard player was recently accused of cheating while competing in a recent unofficial paid tournament. The player and streamer, known as Kenji, tried to clear his name by pointing a webcam at his screen while streaming in order to try to prove he wasn't cheating.
