We ended the interview by asking “Are there any plans to bring any aspect of Black Ops 4 to Nintendo Switch?”
Miller’s response to this was quick and brief, with him simply saying with

Lord of Hatred Review: Diablo 4 Finally Finds Its Final Form
This is Diablo 4 at its best. I mean it this time. For real.
Returning to the world of Sanctuary for this latest chapter feels like a true homecoming for those of us who have spent hundreds of hours traversing its dark and unforgiving landscapes since the base game launched back in 2023. The release of the Lord of Hatred expansion marks a significant step forward in the narrative that was originally set in motion during the initial campaign and furthered by the events of the Vesse...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Not Coming to Nintendo Switch
It seemed like 2018 would be the year that Call of Duty came to the Nintendo Switch but uh, I guess not. According to an interview Twinfinite conducted with Treyarch's Senior Producer Yale Miller and Gameplay Designer Matt Scronce, there are just no plans to bring Black Ops 4 to the Switch.

That's the case with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which just had its big reveal event much to the delight of Zombies, multiplayer, and battle royale fans. Sorry single player campaign fans, you aren't included in this celebration. That's right, Treyarch and Activision have officially killed off the single player campaign for Call of Duty. What's more is that they killed it off from the Black Ops series, which is arguably...

It's Time for Call of Duty to Ditch PC and the Single-Player Campaign
Yesterday, it was revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII was going to ditch the single-player campaign due to unspecified "development issues." This begs the question: Is this the beginning of the end for the single-player Call of Duty experience? More importantly, should this be the end of single-player campaigns for Call of Duty?
In short: Yes.
According to PSNProfiles, only 31.34% of all PlayStation 4 owners beat Call of Duty: WWII's single-player campaign.... -

Rumor: Battle Royale Mode Included with Black Ops 4
I saw this earlier in Discord and I thought it was just some stupid joke. Nope, apparently there's a fairly solid rumor going around that Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII will include a Battle Royale mode.
Both Kotaku and Charlie Intel posted independent rumors today that Raven Software is working on this Battle Royale mode for the Treyarch developed Black Ops IIII.
Via Kotaku: One of those sources also echoed a report from top Call of Duty information-broker Charlie Intel... -

Sources Say Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to Ditch Traditional Single-Player Campaign
According to a report that went up today from Polygon, Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII will not feature a "traditional" single-player campaign. It will instead focus more on the multiplayer and Zombie modes.
Sources close to Polygon said that development by Treyarch on Black Ops IIII has been going rather poorly. As a result, it seems as though the single-player campaign wasn't going to be completed in time for the game's release date, which is still set for October 12, 2018.... -

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is Reportedly Real and Won't Include Multiplayer
Two separate sources have independently confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is indeed real. Both of these sources have also said that Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is only the single player component from the original game.
Sources have supplied this information to Charlie Intel and (presumably) other sources have separately supplied this information to Eurogamer. That's two sites and probably two sources that are making this claim. It may also explain why... -

Next Call of Duty Seems to be Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII
It started as a rumor earlier tonight but some anonymous sources close to Kotaku have confirmed that the next Call of Duty title will be Call of Duty: Black Ops IV. Sorry, wait a second.
I meant to say that the next Call of Duty title looks to be Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. The tally marks, Mason, what do they mean?! If you're reading this and suddenly feel dumber, how do you think I felt having to write it out? That's right, to hell with conventional roman numerals! T... -

Free Call of Duty: WWII Event Scheduled Around Release of Resistance DLC
Starting on January 23, Activision is planning a free event for Call of Duty: WWII that coincides with the release of the Resistance DLC. This is apparently limited to some in-game event that will provide you new free weapons, the return of the Demolition mode, new Resistance gear to go with the new Resistance Division, double XP, and more. There is a trailer that should give you a good overview of the content that will be available. In addition, the Resistance page (that I already l...

Call of Duty: WWII Hits Half a Billion Dollars in Sales
Let's be honest with ourselves, we knew that the new Call of Duty was going to sell well. It should come as no surprise then that Activision released a statement today saying that Call of Duty: WWII sales have hit half a billion dollars in its three-day launch weekend. That's a cool $500 million+ of sold-through units around the world.

New Call of Duty: WWII Game Ready Drivers Released from Nvidia
Nvidia released some new Game Ready 388.13 WHQL drivers today in anticipation of the upcoming release of Call of Duty: WWII. In addition to the Call of Duty optimizations, the drivers also offer up some performance gains in Need for Speed Payback and Nioh: Complete Edition. They are also "recommended" for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which probably means they include the hotfix that came out for the last major driver update that helped the game to not crash on older Nvidia cards. ... -

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?
