A mid-season update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out today across all platforms. Season 02 Reloaded, as it's being called, offers some new content to those playing Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer modes, Warzone 2.0, and also continues the Atomgrad co-op raid with a second episode.
Perhaps the most important addition in Modern Warfare 2 Season 02 Reloaded is the addition of Shredder. In case there are some other character named Shredder out there, I will be perfectly clear here that I'm talking about the Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Shredder is being offered as a new Tracer Pack Operator Bundle. So yes, you do need to pay extra for him, as if there was ever any doubt that this would be the case.
Update: A small update about Shredder. Apparently he's not getting released until March 21. He will be listed as his own character and not just a skin for an existing Operator.
A general overview of the Season 02 Reloaded can be found below.

- Earn Season 02 Camos. Continue down the Path of the Ronin with additional challenges rewarding a new event camo for each weapon class.
- New Weapon. Take aim with the new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle
- For fans who grew up with Turtles. What happens when Shredder® from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® is brought into Call of Duty? He definitely doesn’t stop after 22 minutes of televised combat. Get this iconic villain in a new Tracer Pack Operator Bundle and unlock his ninjutsu powers.
