If you add it to your account, it's yours to keep forever. As with last time some free DLC was handed out, there is a new Community Mission underway. This time, the team wants you to collectively score "500,000 Million total Bow kills to get a Gold Battlepack." That's actually what it says.

You should probably get to work because that might take a while. In all seriousness, it's actually only 500,000 Bow kills that you need to get. That is a slightly more attainable amount.
