Early today, it seems as though a ton of information was potentially leaked for Battlefield: Hardline. You may otherwise know it as Battlefield: S.W.A.T. or even the "Battlefield game being developed by Visceral Games." Hell, you may even know it now from its code-name of Omaha or Havana for all I know.

The simple fact remains that there has apparently been a huge leak of information on the next Battlefield title. According to information gathered at NeoGAF, Better Battlelog, and Reddit, the next Battlefield game is indeed being developed by Visceral. Even more, they are far enough along that they will be able to show off the next Battlefield game to those going to E3. In fact, the speculation says that both the Heist and Blood Money game types will be playable on the High Tension map at E3.

As you may infer from some of the names, the game is essentially cops vs robbers, or SWAT vs Thieves in this case. Some of the possible game modes include Team Deathmatch, Turf War (Small and Large), Heist, and Blood Money. I'm going to assume that Turf War is just another name for the Conquest game type we know. There were also hints of an alpha and a beta found from those at Better Battlelog.

In addition, hints at the Commander mode returning are evident through some leaked images. Some of the potential classes or loadouts include Enforcer, Mastermind, Technician, and Professional. There is the possibility of there being an in-game store where you can buy weapons and accessories, similar to Counter-Strike.

There will also apparently be a police baton for melee combat.

So, where does the "Hardline" name come from? It's all speculation at this point, but apparently some people gathered that's what the name was after some notable YouTube personalities (JackFrags, LevelCap, xFactor) went to San Francisco for an event, returned, and started to use the tag of "Battlefield: Hardline" on new uploads.

Let's take a look at some of those images now. Many of them come courtesy of the Battlefield Daily Twitter. There are images for gadgets, items, weapons, ranks, ribbons, awards, and more.
