Feel like you're getting killed in just one hit in Battlefield 4 and you cannot figure out why? This video may explain why you seem to die faster than you would expect.
Hopefully the increased exposure to this bug will result in it being fixed by DICE and EA in an upcoming patch.

You want super realistic? You spend $120 bucks buying the game and a subscription to all its expansions before they're even released, and you go online to multiplayer and play for 30 seconds and get shot. The end. You're never allowed to play again. Even if you go out and buy another copy of the game it'll say "sorry you're dead you can't play."
Realism ~= fun.
There's certain things where realism is better, like graphics, animations, physics, but the rest has to come down to what actually makes a good, fun game. They do offer 'hardcore' mode for those that want the more 'realistic' settings. http://bf4central.com/battlefield-4-hardcore/
