Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, is expected to be released on August 28, 2025. This is at least according to yet another PlayStation Store leak.
Earlier today, the PlayStation App version of the PlayStation Store displayed the August 28 release date for the remake. The page also showed a new trailer for the game that has since also been reshared a number of times on YouTube. One of which has been embedded below. If it's no longer there, it's safe to assume Konami got it removed until it's officially allowed to be out.
A collaboration with Ape Escape was also teased. Those who played the original release of Metal Gear Solid 3 on PlayStation 2 probably know all about this Snake vs. Monkey minigame. It is also quite possible that the Ape Escape content or the Snake vs. Monkey minigame will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 release. Again, we just don't have any solid details quite yet.
If next week's rumored State of Play happens, it's probably a safe bet that we will see the official release date announcement made there.
