Saibot Studios and New Blood Interactive released Tenebris Somnia for PlayStation, XBOX, Switch, and various PC platforms, including Steam and GOG. The going price for this one is just $19.99.
Tenebris Somnia is said to play "like a classic survival horror in the spirit of Silent Hill or Resident Evil." However, this one utilizes "16-bit retro" visuals for the gameplay segments and live-action work for the cutscenes. As Julia, you are trying to find your ex-boyfriend. It doesn't go particularly smoothly as Julia soon finds herself trapped in a parallel nightmare where she is stalked by horrific creatures.
The live-action cutscenes were filmed using real actors and practical effects crafted by "an award-winning Argentine film crew." Clara Kovacic plays Julia. She is joined by other actors such as Yael Tesouro, Maria Eugina Rigon, and Esteban Prol.
Tenebris Somnia is executive produced by Airdort (aka: Mason Smith), the creator of Faith: The Unholy Trinity. This game is "considered a spiritual successor to that series."
