Phil Spencer seems to be super keen on releasing a number of Microsoft developed games on Nintendo's upcoming Switch 2 console. On the latest episode of the Gamertag Radio podcast, Spencer says that Microsoft is "really looking forward to supporting [Nintendo] with the games that we have."
Microsoft is already no stranger when it comes to multi-platform game releases. Titles such as Grounded and Pentiment were already released on the Nintendo Switch by Microsoft. Of course, Minecraft is also available on that platform but then again, Minecraft is available on basically every platform. Some future titles from Microsoft, including Doom: The Dark Ages will be simultaneously released on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation 5. We also know that a PS5 version of the recently released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming this spring.
According to some, such as Jez Corden of Windows Central, Microsoft is ready to bring over titles such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and even Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Corden suggests that basically all of Microsoft's multi-platform titles will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2, provided the hardware is capable enough of running them.
Nintendo and their innovation, what they mean in this industry, I just always applaud the moves that they make.

Outside of Microsoft, other studios are also said to be eager to get their games on Switch 2 when it launches. Konami would like to bring over Metal Gear Solid Delta. Square Enix would like to Release Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on the Switch 2 in 2025 and 2026 respectively. Ubisoft is allegedly readying a Switch 2 port of Assassin's Creed Mirage and the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows. Ubisoft may also bring over ports of Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, and are rumored to release a package containing the Mario + Rabbids titles that came out on the Switch.
Nintendo is slated to hold a special Switch 2 Direct on April 2. Expect more concrete details to emerge at that time.
