A limited console beta for Valorant will kick off on June 14, 2024 for those in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan. More regions may open shortly after but nothing has been promised completely on that front. It isn't clear when this beta will end and the full release will begin either.

Riot Games say that the Xbox and PlayStation 5 releases of Valorant feature "custom-built gameplay." In order to "maintain Valorant's renowned standard for competitive integrity, cross-play will not be available between PC and console player matches." There will at least be a "connected, shared inventory and gameplay progression tied to their Valorant account." This just means you can play on your account on any platform and keep making some sort of progress, you just can't play against other platforms.

Riot says that both PC and console players will get "simultaneous platform releases of all live patch balances, new agents, maps, premium content, and additional live service features."
