Shepard. Guardian. Shepard. Guardian... Shepard...
On February 13, 2024, a collaboration between EA, BioWare, and Bungie will see some Mass Effect themed cosmetics arrive in Destiny 2. The Normandy Crew Bundle will be available to Destiny 2 players that want to spend real money via the in-game Eververse store.
These themed items include a Commander Shepard themed N7 armor set for Titans, a Garrus-inspired Vakarian set for Hunters, and a Liara-inspired Shadow Broker set for Warlocks. There is also the Omni Strike finisher and Flux Dance emote that will also be available for purchase.
There will be some free cosmetics offered to all players in addition to these paid armor cosmetics. The free Alliance Requisitions Bundle includes an Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell, Alliance Scout Frigate ship, and Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow.
Beginning January 30th (that's today), new weekly quests in Destiny 2 were made available to all players. These weekly quests are called Riven's Wishes and will run from January 30 through March 12. During this period, Guardians will try to complete a new pursuit each week to earn a token that is redeemable for "a treasure trove of rewards". You can choose to pick up Lash Wish raid Deepsight weapons, Exotic gear from Lightfall, or you can redeem the tokens for various crafting materials.
Then from January 30 to June 3 the Moments of Triumph kicks off again for all Destiny 2 players. This event invites "Guardians to conquer an array of Triumphs that honor the past year of (their) journey in Destiny 2". If you complete the MMXXIII Seal, you will be eligible to purchase the actual Moments of Triumph shirt from the Bungie Store. Players who completed the Paracausal Adventurer Triumph will also get an exclusive patch that can be added to their Moments of Triumph shirt.
The annual Guardian Games will kick off in March. In April, the Destiny 2: Into the Light two-month content update will be made available to all players. In June, Destiny 2: The Final Shape will be released.

Bungie is calling it quits on Destiny 2. The Sony owned Marathon developer announced the final live-service content update for Destiny 2. Today's announcement was a long time coming and one that most fans saw the writing on the wall for months ago.
