At just one minute long, it's a pretty hype trailer.
Cloud and Sephiroth facing off in battle in Final Fantasy 7.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's release is coming up rather quickly for PlayStation 5 owners. Slated to be released on February 29, 2024, this second entry of the Final Fantasy 7 remake project looks to cover a significant portion of what is on the second disc of the original PlayStation version of Final Fantasy 7.

Today's new trailer, Destined for Rebirth, is just a minute long but offers just enough of a glimpse to entice new fans while giving old fans some things to do the Leonardo DiCaprio finger pointing meme at.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is, at least for now, a PlayStation 5 exclusive. This exclusive period is seemingly for at least three months. Even today's trailer says that the game is exclusive to PS5 "until at least May 29, 2024." That does not mean it will be out on other platforms right on May 29th though.
