Will also include player feedback on Origin Character epilogues.

Even though the first major update for Baldur's Gate 3 was just rolled out a few days ago, developer Larian Studios is already hyping up the next major update. This second update is supposedly right "around the corner" and will include "major performance improvements" along with the start of incorporating some fan feedback on Origin Character epilogues.

Those are just a couple of the major features of this update, which is sure to have another lengthy list of fixes, tweaks, additions, and more. Larian is already calling the second update as "equally chonky" as the massive first update. Keep in mind that Baldur's Gate 3's first update was so long that the changelog exceeded Steam's character limit for news updates.

As it stands right now, there is no firm release date for this second update. Fans are also hoping that this second patch includes several fixes to address problems found throughout Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3. Act 3 supposedly contains the most bugs of any of the acts, feels the least polished, and (allegedly) suffers from some missing content.

Baldur's Gate 3 is out already on PC, hits PlayStation 5 on September 6, and will hit Xbox Series X|S later this year.
