This is now the second time the game has been delayed.

The open world survival horror game, Sons of the Forest, has once again been hit with a delay. This sequel to the similarly themed game, The Forest, was first slated for release on May 20, 2022. It was then delayed until October 2022. Now, the game has been moved all the way to February 23, 2023.

Developer Endnight Games announced the delay by way of a short tweet. They say that "it has been hard to pinpoint an exact release date." That seems kind of odd that they would announce a release date at all then, especially since they seem to be self-publishing the sequel just as they did the first title.

At release, whenever that may be, it will be priced at just $29.99 (USD).
