Nightingale is an upcoming Victorian-era looking meets fantasy survival game that is currently in development by Inflexion Games. The studio, founded in 2018, is comprised of former BioWare developers including former BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn.
The game was expected to release into early access later in 2022 but it seems as though even that has been met with a delay. Inflexion Games announced that they are delaying the release of the game until sometime in the first half of 2023. The announcement was made earlier today through Twitter.
It seems like the major hurdles causing the delay is the move to Unreal Engine 5 ahead of release instead of after release. The team is also working making general improvements to the content and gameplay before they're even ready for the early access release.
