Square Enix says that they will release a free demo for Babylon's Fall on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This demo will be available for download on February 25, 2022.
This demo will give players access to the opening bits of the game where both single player and four-player cross-play co-op can be given a fair shake. Furthermore, Square Enix says that all progress and achievements earned in the demo will be carried over to the full game when that releases on March 3.
Those that pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition will get early access to the full game starting on February 28. In addition, everyone that buys the game will get the Premium Battle Pass for free in Season 1.
Square Enix says that this demo will provide "multiple hours of story content and limitless multi-player to give players a significant head-start for strengthening their Sentinel." These early stages will give players a little taste of "the immense power a Sentinel wields on the battlefield, but also the burden and unwanted responsibility they carry for saving the city that surrounds the Tower."
Babylon's Fall will get some post-launch support by way of new game modes, new story content, and additional weapon types at no additional cost. Babylon's Fall is out March 3, 2022 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and on PC via Steam.
ABOUT BABYLON’S FALL
In BABYLON’S FALL players become a group of warriors known as the sentinels, bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins, and throw themselves into an odyssey to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which sleeps a great legacy. In addition to weapons wielded in both hands, characters can use the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two more, allowing for combinations of up to four weapons at once. The capabilities of different equipment will also bring endless variation to the strategy that can be employed. The game’s visuals are achieved using a newly developed “brushwork style†to create a unique fantasy setting with a medieval oil painting aesthetic.
