Gearbox Software and 2K released Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure today. This is a stand-alone release of the stellar Borderlands 2 DLC that came out back in 2013. It can be yours for $9.99 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC via Steam. It's playable through backwards compatibility on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

And though this is considered a "new" release, do not expect to see any substantial new content than what was already in the original DLC release. Gearbox says that there are "brand-new loot and cosmetics" but stop short of specifying what that includes.

Now, I said this release was free, didn't I? Well, it is free but only if you claim it on the Epic Games Store from now through November 16, 2021.

Going by many of the "mostly negative" reviews for this release on Steam and through various Reddit reports, there may be a fair number of performance issues with this release. So while I can't say you should go and spend $10 on this, I would say adding it to your collection for free isn't a terrible idea. This is of course assuming you haven't already experienced this content as DLC for Borderlands 2.
