A new game for classic survival horror fans was just released today on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. It's called Tormented Souls and it serves as a return to the day where survival horror games used a fixed camera perspective and offered limited resources. Today's release will run fans just $39.99 (USD).
You play as Caroline Walker as she searches the halls of an abandoned mansion looking for missing twin girls. True to all things classic survival horror, there will be plenty of puzzles to solve and scary enemies to face off against.
For those on other platforms that aren't the PS5 or PC, worry not, because you'll get a release of Tormented Souls soon enough. The game is slated to arrive on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch "soon."
Investigating the disappearance of missing twin girls leads Caroline Walker down a disturbing path through the halls of an abandoned mansion-turned-hospital inhabited by sinister forces and medical atrocities
