Will supposedly launch this new title before next April.

2K apparently has a new franchise that they are working on. The first entry in this new franchise is slated to be revealed later this month. This is according to Take-Two's Q1 earnings report. This new franchise being revealed later in August also came with a confirmation that the game would launch some time "this fiscal year."

"This fiscal year" means that the game is slated to launch at any point between now and March 31, 2022.

The new franchise will be part of four "immersive core releases" that Take-Two Interactive has planned for their 2022 fiscal year. The other titles included include NBA 2K22, WWE 2K22, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. These titles will be coming from 2K, Visual Concepts, and Gearbox Software respectively. Obviously, these aren't the only titles coming out from Take-Two over the next year. They will ship ten mobile titles, six updated releases of previous games (Grand Theft Auto V for PS5 and Series X|S, for example), Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition, and three additional titles that have not yet been announced.
