They're both suing each other, both claiming the other were in violation of their legal responsibilities to the company. The lawsuit against Pitchford from the former Gearbox lawyer Wade Callender says that Pitchford received a secret $12 million bonus from Take-Two Interactive.

Callender's lawsuit, filed December 21, 2018, also says that Pitchford is in violation of some contracts that involve Gearbox and a "separate real estate company" that both of them owned. Gearbox says that these accusations are "absurd" in a brief statement released today by a Gearbox spokesperson. ...

If you recall, the news back in January made it sound like Benzies had quit out of the blue after a 17-month long sabbatical from the company. Benzies, by way of a statement issued by his legal consult, Christopher Bakes, said that "while on sabbatical, Mr. Benzies discovered numerous deceptions on the part of Take-Two, Rockstar, Rockstar North Ltd, Sam Houser and Dan Houser, who sought to force him out of the company and terminate his portion of royalty ...

    Evolve Delayed Until 2015

According to Take-Two Interactive and their first-quarter financial results, Evolve has now been pushed into 2015. The game was originally slated to be released on October 21 of this year but the Turtle Rock developed 4vs1 title won't be out now until February 10, 2015.

According to statements made to MCV, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that the delay is for polish.
"It was the primary belief that polish pays off," Zelnick says. "When we give a title that is looking so promising, having won best of show at E3, a bit more time to make sure it is just as good as it can be, historically that has always been a good
