In a new report from Bloomberg, it looks like Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game, Horizon Forbidden West, has been hit with a delay. This will probably come as a surprise to literally anyone as this year and the last year have been the season of delays thanks to working from home and other complications from COVID-19.

According to this report, citing "a person familiar with the matter, Horizon Forbidden West is now due out in the first quarter of 2022.

Back in June, Hermen Hulst of PlayStation Studio specified that the game's planned Holiday 2021 release "date" was tentative. With respect to Horizon, he noted that game's release "isn't quite certain yet." He continued on to say that they are "working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can."

The first game, Horizon Zero Dawn first came out back in 2017 for the PlayStation 4. The game ended up selling more than 10 million copies and was even later released for the PC via Steam.
