This isn't the first time someone from Sony did this.
Sony has pulled a video ad that was posted earlier today that showed a PlayStation 5 in the background that was upside-down. Most people probably wouldn't have noticed such a mistake, but it sure caught the attention of fans that were quick to point it out on social media. This prompted Sony to pull the ad once it started to gain the attention of more and more people.
The short ad showed a father and son having a little chat before the dad sat down to play God of War. It was at this point that the camera shifted, allowing you to see the upside-down system sitting in the entertainment center.
Amusingly, this isn't Sony's first rodeo with displaying a console upside-down. Back in December 2020, the head of PlayStation Studios Herman Hulst tweeted out a video where his PlayStation 5 was upside-down. He quickly deleted that tweet and resubmitted it with the PlayStation 5 cropped out.
