Crysis with upgraded visuals serves as the basis for the just released Crysis Remastered. Out now for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Crysis Remastered features vastly improved visuals over the original release. In the case of the PC version specifically, there is even a "Can It Run Crysis?" graphical option that will push even the latest hardware such as the Nvidia RTX 3080, to its absolute limits.
The PC release can be picked up only through the Epic Games Store (affiliate link) for the time being. The going rate across all three platforms is just $29.99 (USD). Those who purchase the game within the first three weeks of launch on the Epic Games Store will also get the Crysis soundtrack and unique wallpaper. Those who buy within the same period on the PlayStation Store will get a Crysis Remastered PlayStation theme as a bonus.
As we have mentioned in the past, the remaster includes upgraded graphical features such as higher quality textures, improved art assets, software based ray tracing, hardware based ray tracing, DLSS support, and more.
In Crysis Remastered, players face down an alien invasion armed with the powerful Nanosuit, which provides super strength, armor, speed and cloaking abilities.
