Some would argue that's just too many K's.

If you have been sitting on the fence about the upcoming Crysis Remastered, then perhaps today's massive trailer will sway you. I say it's massive because I'm talking about the size, not the length. We're about to experience an 8K trailer that shows off comparisons between the 2007 Crysis and the upcoming Crysis Remastered.

Crysis Remastered is supposed to take advantage of current-gen hardware in order to bring "a range of visual features to Crysis, including ray tracing, global illumination (SVOGI), rippling caustics, up to 8K textures (including 8K Nanosuit), enhanced particle and explosion effects, and more." Whew, that is certainly a lot to take in, especially for one sentence!

If that wasn't enough, there will also be a unique "Can It Run Crysis?" mode that is an ultra-high graphical setting that will push even the most powerful hardware to its limits.

Crytek worked closely with Saber Interactive on this remaster. It's coming on September 18 to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store (affiliate link). It will run you just $29.99 (USD). For those on the Nintendo Switch, it is already available for you and has been since late July.
