In almost a year, we really haven't heard too much from the upcoming psychological-horror title, Someday You'll Return. Today, that all changes with a new release date announcement for the PC version of the game. We also have some new screenshots and even a new trailer to check out.
In case you forgot, and I don't blame you if you have, Someday You'll Return is a "narrative driven psychological-horror" title. It also seems to incorporate a fair bit of survival elements in its list of gameplay features (see below). It's in development from CBE Software for the PC. You play as Daniel after his daughter, Stela, ran away. The story finds you searching for Stela and in doing so, having him return to places he "swore never to return to."
For those who want the game on PC, it will be released on April 14, 2020. Xbox and PlayStation development is apparently still in the cards. However, the press release today notes that development for these platforms is scheduled for later this year. You can currently add it to your Steam Wishlist if you're so inclined.
Along with today's release date announcement is an all-new trailer for the game. It shows off bits of the gameplay experience along with some of the scares you'll encounter as you search for your missing daughter. As always, feel free to check out the game's official site for more.

Using a typical Czech forest setting, which is different from Scandinavian or American forests, creates a unique mood for players. The referenced locations and mythos in the game are ancient with some of the tales in Someday You’ll Return dating back to the 9th century.
