A new game in The Walking Dead franchise is in development. Unlike every other Walking Dead game in existence, this one is a game made specifically for VR. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners will be for both PC VR devices and also PlayStation VR. This is a single player focused game.
According to the game's description, the challenge and decisions made in the game are up to you. You can approach combat however you want, be it from far away with bows and arrows, up close with melee, or go in guns blazing. You will be able to scavenge through the ruins of New Orleans as you try to survive both against the hordes of the undead and against the living.
There are also different factions in the game that you will be able to carry out missions for. Some of these missions will reward you with valuable resources. You can also choose to try to save those that you come across, murder them yourself, or let "nature" take its course.
The pre-order page is already live on Steam. It will also be available through the Oculus Store for PC. The PC release will arrive on January 23, 2020. The game is also headed to PlayStation VR in Early 2020. The base game is $39.99 (USD) but you can also pick up The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Tourist Edition for $49.99.
This includes the game, three unique weapon recipes, collectible voodoo dolls, the OST, and The Supernatural Skeptic's Guide to New Orleans companion piece.
