Apex Legends 50 million players

It feels like less than a month ago when we found out that Apex Legends was sitting at over 25 million players. Oh, it was less than a month ago when that news popped up. Today, the team at Respawn Entertainment announced that they have now surpassed 50 million unique players.

If you do the math, that's about... carry the 1, divide the 0... yeah, that's double what they were at back on February 11. There isn't too much else to add here. In case you don't know, Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment. Right now the game is limited to three-person squads only, but thanks to their unique Ping system, you never actually have to talk to your teammates. However, it's still better if you can play with your friends because people still tend to be jerks.

Oh, and check this out in case you need some background information about the whole Mozambique meme.
