Fallout: New Vegas Chris Avellone

Earlier today, game designer and noted writer Chris Avellone revealed that he recently finished working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

If you recall from yesterday's news, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the latest Star Wars title that EA is getting ready to publish. Unlike other Star Wars titles released in the past couple of years, this one isn't being developed by DICE but is instead being developed by Respawn Entertainment.

For those who are wondering why this is exciting news, you need only look at Avellone's previous work to understand. He was a designer for Fallout 2, lead designer and writer for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and writer for Fallout: New Vegas. He was the writer on other fantastic titles such as Pillars of Eternity and Prey (2017).

The first public reveal for Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen order will take place in April as part of the Star Wars Celebration.

Included in Avellone's tweets today was another little hint as to what his next project reveal will be.

It's entirely possible we're just reading far too much into this, but it seems like Avellone is hinting that the next reveal will be for the new Vampire: The Masquerade game. Paradox Interactive has been teasing a new entry for the franchise for a number of weeks now. The reveal of whatever it is from Paradox looks like it's coming on March 21 during GDC 2019.
