During today's Mega Man 30th Anniversary Livestream, Capcom announced that Mega Man 11 is in development. It is looking for a vague "late 2018" release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The classic series takes a leap forward in visual presentation in Mega Man 11 with a 2.5D design direction introducing beautiful, completely hand-drawn characters and environments. A freshly redesigned Mega Man takes on Dr. Wily’s berserk machines, defeating Robot Master bosses and taking their weapons, in an ever-evolving fight for justice with new and unique enemy designs. This is just a small taste of information of what’s to come in Mega Man 11 alongside the start of the series’ 30th anniversary year, and fans can look forward to more details on the game in Summer 2018.

In addition, Capcom said that they will be releasing both Mega Man Legacy and Mega Man Legacy 2 on the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018. Mega Man Legacy will also have a new feature added when released on the Switch, the ability to rewind the game ala: Forza Motorsport 7. This feature will be added to all other current versions of the game at the same time.

Perhaps the more important news for fans that already own the other titles is the reveal that there will be a collection of all eight Mega Man X games released in Summer 2018. These games will also be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Below, you can see some of the goodies in video format along with a bunch of screenshots specific to Mega Man 11!
