Capcom is really out here making Mega Man collections for every game but their Legends series. Today, they released Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, which is apparently an RPG series that started back in 2006. This collection of not-Legends games can be yours for $39.99 with today's release on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and Steam.
This collection includes all of Mega Man Star Force and Mega Man Star Force 2, each of which is apparently broken down into separate parts. Combat is carried out on a 3x5 grid that blends real-time movement with card-based attacks.
I'll let the rest of this just be the press release. I'm too distraught over the lack of a Mega Man Legends Collection (which would also include The Misadventures of Tron Bonne) and the lack of a Mega Man Legends 3 to write original content. Do you see what you did to me, Capcom? TOO. DISTRAUGHT!
Blast through the collection’s three titles with each of the seven games from the Mega Man Star Force series, including:
Set in a future shaped by advanced technology, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection follows Geo Stelar who merges with the extraterrestrial Omega-Xis to transform into Mega Man. Together, they take on a series of otherworldly battles that blur the line between the real world and the digital Wave World.
On a 3x5 grid, combat blends real-time movement with card-based attacks, challenging players to master positioning, timing, and deck-building in fast-paced tactical battles. However, outside of battle, players move between everyday life and the Wave World, where exploration and story progression come together in a seamless adventure.
Enhanced for Modern Play:
This collection introduces a variety of upgrades that enhance the experience while also opening up fresh ways to play:
