  • New Teaser for Song of Horror is Halloween Appropriate

A new teaser trailer for Song of Horror came out on a pretty good day. That day being today. Today being Halloween. Do you get it now? In addition to this nice Halloween tie-in teaser, Song of Horror also has a new website they would like you do know about.
Song of Horror is a cinematic third-person survival horror. Help Daniel Noyer, our protagonist, solve a mystery threatening his very existence by controlling not only him, but up to 16 playable characters.

Song of Horror focuses on its narrative, featuring a story influenced by horror masters such as Poe, Lovecraft and M.R. James; on The Presence, the game’s relentless AI, capable of procedurally generating dangers of all kinds, and on the permanent death of its cast.

The game brings back the dread of the old-school classics along with modern and innovative mechanics.

Developer, Protocol Games, say that they are making Song of Horror with games like the original Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil in mind. It also features a permadeath feature that means any character that dies, is gone for good for the rest of the playthrough. Song of Horror is expected to be released Spring 2018 for the PC (via Steam), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
