This Friday, September 8, at 12AM (ET), a free demo for NBA 2K18 will be released. This demo will only be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

it will include a look at The Neighborhood, the major story-driven experience coming in NBA 2K18. 2K says that those who try out The Prelude (this is what they're calling this demo) will get to carry over their progress to the game's full release on September 15. The Prelude will be released through both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network at the noted time.
