It was just announced that Oculus co-founder, Palmer Luckey, has left Facebook. This comes roughly three years after he sold Oculus to Facebook and about one year after he helped to fund racists during the 2016 election.

This is Luckey's last week with the company, with Friday being his last official day as an employee. Facebook issued this following statement on his departure.
"Palmer will be dearly missed. Palmer’s legacy extends far beyond Oculus. His inventive spirit helped kickstart the modern VR revolution and helped build an industry. We’re thankful for everything he did for Oculus and VR, and we wish him all the best."

When asked if his departure was voluntary, Facebook declined to comment.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Luckey.
