Meta Announces $1,500 Meta Quest Pro

This is Meta's new business focused VR headset.

Meta, formerly Oculus and Facebook, just announced a new high-end virtual reality headset. Dubbed the Meta Quest Pro, this $1,500 (USD) piece of hardware is the company's "most advanced headset yet."

Set to release on October 25, the Meta Quest Pro is not a device aimed at gamers. In fact, it's not really aimed at anybody but businesses and professionals. That could, at least in this case, account for the reason...

  • Livestream of Buffalo Mass Shooting Reached Millions of Views on Facebook and Streamable

Just another typical weekend here in the States.

On Saturday, May 14 a mass shooting took place in Buffalo, New York. This tragic event where an 18-year-old white male shot and killed at least 10 people was reportedly planned on Discord and livestreamed on Twitch.

Twitch pulled the livestream from their site within about two minutes of it going live. However, that was still enough time for people to pull recordings of the footage and moving it on to other platforms. Some...

    Facebook is now Meta

    Literally, that's their new name.

Yes, Meta. Facebook is now Meta.

Earlier this month, a report was released suggesting that Facebook was interested in rebranding itself to try to separate itself...

Facebook Bringing Ads to Oculus Quest Apps

    This is fucked up.

Facebook says that they will "expand" the system based on user feedback. It claims that they are aiming to create a "self-sustaining platform" for VR development.

Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition Out Now

Built specifically for the VR experience.

The Oculus Store got a little bit more spooky today. No, I'm not talking about how it's run by Facebook, that's certainly frightening in its own right. No, I am talking about how Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition was just released on the Oculus Store for $29.99 (USD).

Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition is a "story-driven, psychological VR horror game that immerses players in with the terror hidden in the Black Hills Forest."...
