• Mirror's Edge Catalyst Pushed to June 7

Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been delayed slightly until June 7 in North America and June 9 in Europe. The game was originally slated to be released on May 24, so it's only a two week delay.

However, the reason for the delay may upset you just a bit.
To support the Social Play features, we are using a brand new online technology. We also want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the Closed Beta. That is why we will give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game, with a new release date for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst of June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU). We’re confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players.

Starting tomorrow, the closed beta for the game will kick off.

Obviously didnt get selected to the beta. But kids who complain about Origin 24/7, dont actually own any games in the platform and all they do is play minecrft and COD seemed to get into it somehow.

Yeah, not sure what the criteria was to get an invite.

As I had mentioned before, they always give the idea that there isnt any criteria involved, or if there is, it must be some pretty bad one.
Since the Alpha days of BF3, from all the Alphas/betas of DICE and EA games that the weirdest people always manage to actually get prior access. I know people who dont even have any games on Origin let alone play BF..
