Some quick pieces of news for you in this latest #NewsBits for March 29, 2016.
• A 16-year old hacked Steam to get his fake game, Watch Paint Dry, up on Steam without Valve's approval. He did it so that Valve would finally do something to fix a loophole since Valve apparently kept ignoring him.

• As a surprise to nearly nobody, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor 2 is apparently being worked on.

• Major Nelson announced that Left 4 Dead 2 is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

• You can try an open trial of Unravel's first level right now through Origin on the PC, Xbox One, or the PlayStation 4.

Supernova from Bandai Namco enters into a F2P open beta on PC.

• Mac OS X users can now play Master of Orion with latest Early Access update. You can get it on either Steam or GOG.

• A new puzzle-platformer that stars fruits and vegetables, Organic Panic, is now available on PlayStation 4 from developer Last Limb. It will be out on the XB1 on April 1. Both platforms go for $14.99 (USD).

• Another Doom closed beta begins on Thursday, March 31. Most (all?) people that have access to it should have gotten a key or just use the old client through Steam if you had that before. Pre-loading begins tomorrow for it.

• Razer released a new game capture card today. For $180 you can pick up the Razer Ripsaw and capture plus stream your console games with relative ease through your computer to the Internet.
