Ubisoft announced that the open beta for The Division marked the "biggest beta ever for a new game brand on current gen platforms. That's a milestone, right? I wonder where it stacks up against all betas on all platforms, though.

Anyway, Ubisoft said that 6.4 million people played in this past weekend's open beta for The Division.
"On average, players spent around 5 hours as an activated sleeper agent journeying through The Division's open world.

"The Dark Zone proved to be particularly popular, with players spending around 2-hours in the PVP zone, with almost 50 per cent of agents turning Rogue in the process. Fun fact: over 63,309,800 contaminated items were successfully extracted out of the Dark Zone."

We were "activated sleeper agents" in this game? Really? Huh. Alright then! The full game is due to be released on March 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As with most games that have annoying exclusive deals, the Xbox One will get the DLC released 30 days ahead of the other platforms.
