Super Footbrawl Combines Gang Beasts with Rocket League
A new game caught our eye today that looks to combine the worlds of Gang Beasts with Rocket League. It's called Super Footbrawl and as you may have already gathered, it seems to combine physics based player movement with the world of backyard soccer.
I mean, just look at some of these early gameplay clips.
From the looks of it, it's still quite early in development, but the team keeps offering up a number of development blogs as progress is made. It looks like something you might want to keep an eye on.
I kind of want to see this as a modern 3D version of Nintendo World Cup, provided Arc System Works lets them use the Kunio-Kun license, and assuming the devs don't consider this idea as a complete butchering of their original idea. Since well, Nintendo World Cup (or anything Kunio-Kun related) is too over the top to use smaller-scaled fighting a la Gang Beasts.

You'll never guess what just happened again at MindsEye development studio, Build a Rocket Boy. More layoffs have hit the troubled studio as executives continue to blame "espionage and corporate sabotage" for the launch of a game some might consider the worst game they ever played in the modern era.
Prior to the launch of MindsEye, co-CEO Mark Gerhard claimed that there was a "concerted effort" to trash both...
Even Epic wants you to forget about Unreal Engine 5.
Psyonix, a development studio under the Epic Games umbrella, just posted a teaser of an updated version of Rocket League that they've been working on. Though it isn't the long-awaited Unreal Engine 5 updated that fans had wanted, it is instead a version of the game running on Unreal Engine 6.
This very surprise announcement of Unreal Engine 6 was not accompanied by the usual big technical showcase from Epic Games....
Benzies' statements echo that of his co-CEO prior to launch.
It's time once again to play the blame game. This time, it's none other than Build a Rock Boy's CEO Leslie Benzies blaming "internal and external saboteurs" for the myriad of struggles that have plagued MindsEye.
First, something that is a bit more important: All of Build a Rocket Boy's ~300 employees were sent an at-risk of redundancy email. At-risk emails were also sent to the staff of PlayFusion,...
Ahoy there, Cassette Beasts players! The new version 1.8, Sunshine Update, which launches today, brings several new features to the island of New Wirral...
