EA has decided to skip out on E3 2016 in favor of holding their own event that they're calling EA Play. EA says that it's "time to play" and promises an emphasis on putting their players first for this event.We're excited to announce EA Play, an all-new event experience in Los Angeles and London this June built around our players and bringing our latest games to life.

The EA Play website has a "sign up" button that will allow you to "stay informed." It's probably just signing up for a newsletter or email reminders about the above events.
Maybe its just me.
Edit: Now that I think about VALVe, sooner or later they'll do SteamCon, as well as bring back the industry-only event like PAX Dev, and probably allow their event to be partially experienced in VR, but at an early stage where it'll be exactly the same as CD-ROM full motion videos, except in high definition, inserting more commas to keep this run-on sentence going, choo-choo, can't stop the train, one more comma, done.
